Sekonic C-500 color meter with a built-in light-sensitive element for use with digital and film cameras is designed to measure color temperature and control lighting. The device allows selecting measurement sensitivity for digital or film capture. Color measurement is available for both flash and continuous lighting. A silicon photodiode is used as the sensor, and a matte dome is used as the incident light receptor.
Key features:
– Illuminance measurement modes: lux (lx) / foot-candle (FC)
– Flash measurement: can be used with a wireless flash triggering system with or without a sync cord
– Ambient measurement range (ISO 100): EV 3 to EV 16.3 (20 lx to 200,000 lx)
– Flash measurement range (ISO 100): f/2.8 to f/22 (20 lx/s to 1300 lx/s) / f/16 to f/90.9 (640 lx/s to 38,000 lx/s)
– Illuminance range: 2.50 to 610000 lux or 0.23 to 56500 FC
– Color temperature range: 2300K to 20000K
– Selected color display range: 2500K to 10000K
– CC index display range: 80G to 80M
