Sekonic L-478D light meter with a 2.7″ touch LCD display is suitable for photography, cinema, and video production. The L-478D flash meter includes 8 modes for measuring continuous light and 3 modes for measuring flash. It can be used with Data Transfer software for calibration to a specific camera and manual data entry.
The Sekonic L-478D can measure both incident and reflected light. Cinema/video modes allow setting the frame rate and lens angle; if filters are used on the light source, this information can also be entered in the meter settings for more accurate measurements.
Powered by two AAA batteries. The kit includes the Sekonic VF5 5° viewfinder, which measures light in selected areas of the subject and scene during shooting; it is also required when calibrating with Data Transfer software for dynamic range.
