XAVC S format is available with a high data rate, based on the professional XAVC format used in cinema and broadcast, offering editing-friendly files with intelligent compression. The camera supports simultaneous dual-format recording: XAVC S or AVCHD plus MP4.
MotionShot Video mode overlays a sequence of images to visualize and analyze subject movement through each phase. In a special mode, the camera can capture 9.2 MP still photos. Face detection, smile-trigger capture, and manual aperture and shutter adjustments are supported. The camera includes slots for Memory Stick Micro and Micro SD/SDHC cards.
