Sony HXR-NX80 handheld camcorder with a 1-inch CMOS sensor supports 4K UHD (3840×2160) 30p recording, XAVC S format, HDR recording, and fast hybrid autofocus. The camera can transmit high-quality video in real time and supports live streaming. Hybrid Log-Gamma and S-Log3 workflows deliver vivid images with wide color and dynamic range. The sensor supports low-light shooting with minimized noise. Fast-moving subjects are rendered clearly via phase-detection AF, face detection, and focus lock. AF tracking range can be configured for different shooting scenarios.
HXR-NX80 can record directly in Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), simplifying file-based HDR workflows. 120 fps recording is available in Full HD XAVC 10-bit 4:2:2. Wi-Fi/NFC and Content Browser Mobile enable remote control from mobile devices. The ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T lens provides 12× optical zoom, 18× Clear Image zoom in 4K with Super Resolution, or 24× in HD. Monitoring is via a 0.39″ EVF and a 3.5″ monitor. The camera includes two SDXC/SDHC slots and supports Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark 2) and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo. Power is supplied by AC or NP-FV70/NP-FV50A batteries.
