Sony PXW-Z90 handheld camcorder with a 1-inch CMOS sensor supports 4K HDR shooting and file-based Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG) workflows, as well as wide-gamut S-Log3 video. Live streaming enables content sharing from virtually any location. The sensor reduces noise and blur by capturing more light. An improved fast hybrid autofocus system combines phase detection (273 points covering approximately 84% of the frame), face recognition, and AF lock.
PXW-Z90 supports 120 fps recording in Full HD XAVC, 10-bit 4:2:2. The fixed 29 mm ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T lens supports 12× optical zoom, Clear Image zoom 18× in QFHD with Super Resolution, and 24× in HD. XLR inputs on the removable handle provide professional stereo recording, with switchable phantom power for microphones. The design includes two SDXC/SDHC slots and supports Memory Stick PRO Duo (Mark 2) and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo.
