An XA aspherical element provides high resolution and fine detail across the entire frame throughout the zoom range and is also key to achieving smooth background defocus for artistic rendering. The design also includes one ED (extra-low dispersion) element and one Super ED element to deliver realistic images without color distortion and to reduce longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberration, while improving resolving power for fine detail and textures.
