Sony SEL 70–200 f/4 Macro G OSS II zoom lens for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras with a constant f/4.0 aperture is suitable for photo and video work including reportage, wildlife, sports and entertainment events, and portraits. With a minimum focusing distance of 26–42 cm and a 1:2 magnification ratio, it can be used for macro and close-up shooting. Autofocus is driven by four linear motors. The optical design includes three low-dispersion elements, one extra-low-dispersion element, and aspherical elements to minimize chromatic aberration and other optical anomalies. When used with Sony Alpha cameras, the lens compensates for focus breathing and axial shift, minimizing image shift when changing focal length.
