Spyder Pod is a convenient and reliable camera mounting system suitable for car-mounted shooting as well as for installation on any glass or other smooth, non-porous surfaces that allow suction cups to be securely attached. The Spyder Pod system consists of a camera mounting plate, three main suction cups (plus safety suction cups), and support arms of different lengths, allowing the camera to be mounted on the roof of a car, on a side door, or in other positions, including angled setups.

The mounting plate can hold either the camera directly or a tripod head. 3/8″ and 1/4″ threaded holes allow mounting not only a camera but also additional accessories such as monitors, Magic Arms, and other rigging. The support arms are available in different lengths: 7.5 cm, 15 cm, and 30 cm. The entire car mount packs neatly into a compact lightweight case; the total weight of the packed case is only 6.8 kg. The maximum total payload of the Spyder Pod must not exceed 12.5 kg, making it suitable for use with virtually any modern video camera.
