Compact TVLogic VFM-055A on-camera OLED monitor with a 5.5″ screen and 1920×1080 panel resolution (pixel size 0.063 mm). Monitor brightness is 350 cd/m², contrast ratio 7000:1, and color depth 24-bit (16.7 million colors). These specifications allow the VFM-055A to be used as a viewfinder, delivering cinematic image quality with a wide color gamut, wide viewing angles, and support for multiple video formats via 3G-SDI or HDMI 1.4 input. The monitor includes HDMI and 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs and outputs, enabling HDMI–SDI and SDI–HDMI connectivity. The monitor can pass through and cross-convert HDMI to SDI and vice versa.
Features such as cine camera color-to-linear LUT conversion, HDMI–SDI cross-converter, vectorscope, waveform monitor, customizable markers, 16-channel audio level meters, and more make it easy and comfortable to perform key monitoring tasks. The monitor supports applying popular camera log LUTs during preview, including ARRI, Canon, RED, and Sony RGB in/out tables such as S-Log1/2/3, Log-C/C-Log, and RED Gamma 3/4.
Additional features include horizontal/vertical image flip, timecode settings, image zoom, auto/manual image format selection, blue-only and mono modes, and DSLR scale/aspect ratio options. Focus assist is available for easier focusing. The DC-in connector amplifies the input signal and allows use of a tally light function. Additional interfaces include a USB port for firmware updates and a stereo audio output. TVLogic VFM-055A is made from cast aluminum, has a built-in Sony L-Series battery plate, and includes an AC power supply and an acrylic protective screen.
